At Nest & Soul Maternity, our Lamaze-Certified childbirth education course goes beyond birth prep—it’s a sacred container for learning, embodiment, and connection.
Taught in a cozy small-group format over two consecutive weekends (two 4.5-hour sessions), this class is designed to meet the needs of busy families who crave both depth and flexibility. With intentionally limited cohort space, each participant receives thoughtful attention and the opportunity to ask real, unfiltered questions in a supportive, intimate setting.
This isn’t just a lecture! It’s a dynamic, interactive experience where we’ll weave together evidence-based knowledge, real-life stories, gentle movement, group discussion, and hands-on practice so that you leave feeling grounded, informed, and empowered.
This class is meant to be lively, experiential, and co-created with you! We’ll move, breathe, laugh, practice, and learn together.

Receive hands-on guidance from a nurse and doula trained in trauma-informed lactation support—because we know that “natural” doesn’t always mean easy.

After your final class, we’ll ensure your car seat is safely and properly installed by a Certified Passenger Safety Technician (CPST). Your baby’s safety begins before the first ride home.

Rooted in Lamaze philosophy, we prepare you with evidence-based education, breathwork, comfort techniques, informed decision-making tools, and the confidence to trust your own inner wisdom.

This small-group class is held in person over two weekends (4.5 hours each session, 9 hours total).
Light refreshments and nourishing snacks will be provided to keep you comfortable and energized throughout the class.

The power doesn’t lie in the plan you build, but in the process of becoming educated about your options and confident enough to be flexible

Early latch, feeding cues, positioning, and support

Learn the basics, in addition to some pro-tips, to help you feel prepared for caring for your newborn. We’ll discuss decision points like vaccines, circumcision, safe sleep v. safe seven, and more! We’ll also practice basics like car seat safety, diapering, bathing, dressing, holding, and picking up your baby.

A new baby is an absolute miracle, and navigating your relationship with your partner can feel difficult with this new little human. We’ll discuss healthy relationship practices to help you turn towards each other instead of turning away or against each other in those tough moments.

A guided workbook covering the birth education, preparation, and reflection topics explored in your class. This workbook also includes the comprehensive Birth Preferences Planner, designed to help you discover and clarify the options that matter most to you. You’ll also receive access to an editable one-page Birth Plan template to share with your care team, ensuring your wishes are clearly communicated and supported.
